Incredibly tasty pieces of Christmas cookies, fluffy cakes and buns, and refreshing desserts like a dream can be conjured from flour, carob, raising or pudding powder – of course, gluten-free. Many of the gluten-free recipes were invented by the author herself. The scent wafting from her kitchen once again lured everyone passing by her house to the table. No one invited could resist a quick stop.

“Gluten-free sweets may not yet be typical for most of our households, but there is a rapid increase in pastry chefs who bake this way. I also tried it. It just takes determination, time, and the conviction that gluten-free baking is interesting and everyone will enjoy it immensely. The preparation is simple and the result… just amazing. I discovered a wonderful world of gluten-free ingredients and I can truly recommend Christmas crescents, Linzer cookies, Carob bars, Paris crescents, pecans with star anise, or Mauritius slices,” says Helena Vybíralová.
