Recommended use of Formix confectionery covering mass
The optimal temperature for working with this covering mass is 22 °C. Work the mass for a few minutes before coloring (temperature and thorough processing are really important. Formix is the key to success) until the mass is smooth and elastic.
If the mass is still too hard, you can put it in the microwave for a short time (about 5-10 seconds – depending on the size of the heated mass). After coloring to the desired shade, let it rest for at least 1 hour.
Before covering the cake, work the mass thoroughly again and roll it out into a 2-4 mm thick sheet. You can roll out the mass on food foil or sprinkle it with sugar to prevent it from sticking to the surface.
