How much is needed to cover a cake? For a round cake with a diameter of 24/26 cm you will need approximately 500g of fondant. Fondant is also very suitable for decorations. 

For decorations: Add one full teaspoon of Tylose (item No. 1098) and a little water. Knead well before use and roll out on powdered sugar into a thin sheet for modeling flowers or figurines.
