JEM's rose calyx cutter will create a rose with ease.

Instructions:
1. Insert a 18 gauge wire bent into the cone for 3/4 of its length into one petal.
2. Roll out gum paste or fondant and cut out 2 or 3 layers of petals, place them on a foam pad and thin the edges.
3. Thread the wire through the center of the petals, dampen (with water or glue) wrap the first petal firmly around the cone. Attach the remaining petals in the following order: number 2, 3 then number 4, 5.
4. Dampen the second layer of petals, glue the petals together in the following order: A, B, then C, D and E together.
5. Arrange the third layer of petals, around the rose. Place the calyx on let it dry.
