CMC - thickener - in powder for sugar paste. It is added to covering and modelling pastes to keep them malleable and firm for modelling. It helps maintain the desired density even after adding liquid coloring. Store in a cool, dry and dark place in closed containers.

Usage - modelling paste: 2 teaspoons of CMC for 500g of sugar paste or marzipan.

Incorporate the powder into the fondant or marzipan, let it rest for at least 2 hours in a tightly closed container.

After this time, the paste will still be soft and can be shaped into any form. It hardens after shaping.

Mixed with fondant, it is known as modelling paste. It's ideal for making figures, flowers, letters, or numbers that can stand, for example, on a cake after hardening.

Usage - glue: Mix Tylo with a bit of water. Let the substance rest for at least 1 hour before using it. Homemade glue has a shorter shelf life.

Composition: 100% carboxymethylcellulose.
