Plastic separator plate with four prongs at the bottom, used to separate individual layers of a cake using e.g. Greek columns (placed on the prongs) - must be purchased separately.

Usage

Method 1: to connect 2 cake layers, 2 separator plates of the same size are required. Place the first separator plate (prongs facing up) on the bottom (larger) cake layer and cover the entire cake (including the plate) with icing (prongs will protrude). Place Greek columns on the prongs, which are also inserted into the second plate (intended for the top - smaller - cake layer), which is also covered with icing and decorated.

Method 2: place a plate (size of the smaller top cake layer) with prongs facing down on the bottom cake layer (already covered or decorated with cream, whipped cream, etc.) to indicate the insertion points. Insert pointed pillars (item no. 1902) into the marked spots. Place the top cake layer, resting on the separator plate (prongs facing down), on these pillars. Repeat this process for each layer. The top layer will remain without markings.

The plate can also be used separately as a base (tray) for the cake.
