Apply a thin layer of food glue to the chosen place (can be found under numbers 0444, 1003, 1144, 1393) or use confectionery icing (e.g. royal icing) slightly larger than necessary to transfer the silver leaf. Place it precisely in the designated spot and gently press. Remember that nothing else can be done with the silver after application. Leave for one minute, then peel off the backing paper slowly upward using tweezers. Let dry for 24 hours. Silver is permitted for the surface decoration of pastry products and has the number E174.
