How much do I need to cover a cake? For a round cake with a diameter of 24/26 cm you will need approximately 500g of fondant icing. Fondant icing is also very suitable for decorations. 

Usage for decorations: Add one full teaspoon of Tylose (item 1098) and a little water to 250g of fondant icing. Knead well before use and roll out on powdered sugar to a thin sheet for crafting flowers or figurines.
