Bake a perfect dark red Red Velvet Cake with a texture that is as smooth as velvet and a subtle hint of chocolate. That's what makes a true American Red Velvet Cake. Originally paired with a nice cream cheese frosting to enhance the red color even more. To prepare this perfectly red cake in pastry quality, just add vegetable oil, eggs, and water.

An interesting fact is that you don't necessarily have to use it for a classic red velvet cake, you can also make red velvet cupcakes or red velvet cake pops out of it!

This cake mix is also suitable for making red velvet cupcakes.

Just add eggs and water.

Preparation: Proportions and baking time can be found in the quantity table on the packaging. Preheat the oven to 175°C (160°C for a convection oven). Ingredients should be at room temperature. Put the mix, water, eggs, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Mix for 6-8 minutes until you get a light batter. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan (filling it to half or two-thirds) and bake it in the oven. Also suitable for cupcakes (approx. 20 cupcakes with 500 g of the mix recipe), baking time approx. 20 minutes at 175°C (160°C for a convection oven).
