Because the patterns on the mat are made in stripes, you can easily cut the baked sheet into strips and decorate the sides of cakes or semifreddo with them. So, there are other uses besides just for a roulade.

Procedure: Prepare the dough (color of your choice) and use a pastry scraper to incorporate it into the pattern so that there are no empty spaces left. Chill in the refrigerator for a while, then pour over a second dough with a different shade (for contrast of two-color dough and to highlight the pattern). After baking, let it cool. Then turn the mat upside down, release the edges, and slowly remove it.

Before the first use, rinse in water and wipe with a little grease. If the mat will not be washed in the dishwasher, it is not necessary to wipe with grease every time.
