Used to create a fine pattern on the surface of a cake, pastry, muffin..... Can be used with powdered color, icings, various creams, spray colors, airbrush, royal icing.
Place the stencil on top of the covered cake. Spread a thick layer of icing on it with a palette knife or a pastry scraper. Carefully lift the icing from the stencil with a palette knife and gently peel off the stencil. Let the pattern dry.
For added effect, after drying, you can brush on powdered or liquid pearlescent color.
