Recipe:
Black Tubes:
350g plain flour 1 whole egg
150g powdered sugar 1 egg yolk
180g butter 1 tbsp cocoa
70g ground nuts
Sift the flour onto the pastry board, add the necessary ingredients and knead into a dough. Roll out a sheet to a thickness of 2mm, cut into rectangles about 4 x 6cm, and roll onto the tubes. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. When cooled, pour chocolate over the tubes and fill with Parisian whipped cream or buttercream.
Parisian Whipped Cream:
1/4l whipped cream and 70g grated chocolate, bring to a boil and let cool. Whip the cooled mixture and fill the tubes using a piping bag.
Butter Nut Cream:
200g butter
200g sugar
140g nuts
rum
Whip the butter and sugar into a fluffy mixture, add nuts and rum.
