FunCakes yellow pectin 70g
Yellow pectin FunCakes is a powder used as a gelling agent. Ideal for fruit pastes, jams, jellies and cake fillings.
Due to its gelling nature, it can be found in many foods, where it acts as a stabilizer, thickener, emulsifier and binder. The most well-known use is in marmalades and jams. It is also used, for example, in syrups, frozen foods, ice cream, dressings, jelly candies, yoghurt drinks, or as a fat substitute in bakery products. The amount of pectin used is similar to that common in fresh fruit, i.e. 0.5% -1% content. Pectin is also used in medicine - due to its high density it acts against diarrhea. Also in special medical adhesives and wound healing products.
Recommended dosage: 10 - 40 g per 1 kg of fruit.
The product you want to set must be rich in sugars (min. 55%).

Composition: gelling agent: E440, stabilizer: E337, E452, dextrose. May contain traces of: gluten, eggs, soy, milk, nuts and sesame.
